Planning a wedding requires a lot of thought, energy and patience—you need to know every detail, down to the tablecloths. And, an important part of your wedding planning will need to be transportation and how most of your day will be spent and where.

For instance, where are you getting your hair and makeup done? Are you having a “first look” or taking bridal party portraits at a different venue? Do all of the groomsmen have their tuxes? These are all factors that can impact your transportation. Be sure to include some cushioning to your schedule in case of any last minute emergencies that might come up.

Once you have established a basic timeline for your wedding day, it is time to start researching rental companies. When doing this, you will want to try to start your search about four to six months before the big day—don’t wait until the last minute! However, you can definitely book your wedding trolley farther in advance if you are ready for that.

Additionally, if your wedding is taking place during prom season, or on/around a major holiday, you might want to start your transportation search even earlier. During these times rental companies may be overloaded with bookings for different events.
